Business Upgrading Strategies for 25 Afghan Agri-businesses to create project co-investment plans _ Client / Funder: DAI / USAID

Developed a framework to conduct strategy sessions, trained AVC-HVC staff, drafted business upgrading strategies for 12 agri-businesses in Northern Afghanistan, and finalized strategies developed by project to co-create a total of 25 business upgrading strategies. This work identified total investments in excess of $3 million USD for activities such as getting certifications for agri-businesses, improving branding, strengthening supplier networks, and processing machinery. We developed budgets and schedule for the co-investment of this amount by agri-businesses and project with the end goal of capturing greater benefits for Afghanistan’s farmers.
