We draw on a global network of practitioners who work across countries, sectors, and contexts and who have a deep understanding of how to work with diverse stakeholders in complex settings

We rely on Our Practitioner’s Network for rapid technical or local expertise, ground-truthing, and stakeholder engagement. Practitioners in our network our are first stop for putting together teams for consulting opportunities and for advising on projects and initiatives that need thought leadership. If you are interested in starting a consulting career we have resources and opportunities on-hand to help you build out your own practice. If you are interested in sharing your hard-earned knowledge and experience for better development, we have an evolving pool of like-minded individuals, impact-driven projects, and developing initiatives that often needs short-term, strategic advisory support.

Working in mission-driven organizations and companies is not always straight forward. Working in international development and humanitarian organizations usually adds even more complexity as we juggle the needs of vulnerable program partners, long-term impact, and our own roles and professional needs.

As we were developing our Practitioners Network, we realized that the tools and resources we were creating to support our own team could also be of value to professionals around the world. Whether you’re a local practitioner trying to navigate global organizations or a recent graduate trying to get a foot in the door or an established practitioner who is switching contracts or countries or organizations; we have trained coaches with experience navigating all kinds of institutions and circumstances.

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve been thinking about finding a professional coach. We have flexible programs in terms of costs, levels of support, and logistics. We also can set up institutional arrangements with universities, development organizations, or companies looking to provide their students or staff with coaching services.

The Development Practice coaching helped me create a clear set of goals and priorities for my career when I started a new contract with USAID and needed to negotiate my scope of work.
