We started The Development Practice LLC with the premise of helping organizations put good ideas into practice and to work with our network of like-minded practitioners.
As graduates of Columbia University's Masters of Development Practice program (MPA-DP), we were trained to think about sustainable development through interdisciplinary approaches focused on how to be effective practitioners. After spending years working with universities, local governments, NGOs, UN agencies, multi-lateral institutions and other consulting companies, we realized that there were better ways to do business and to develop our own practices and network. Since incorporating in 2018, we have been blown away by the response from clients, partners, and practitioners alike as our message for better approaches to development work resonates.
